This song, "I Looked It Up", comes from the musical, A PERFECTLY NORMAL BOY. It addresses one of the worst cruelty issues facing gay youth today. A PERFECTLY NORMAL BOY is a musical comedy that uses six men to depict the life of any gay man with each actor playing the lead character at different stages of life. In one of the show's more poignant moments the lead, as a twelve year old boy, wonders why so many "words" in the English language have been altered specifically to be fired at him in the most hateful of ways.
