Closing Arguments in Beating Trial - WNEP
Closing arguments have warpped up in the trial of the two teens accused in the beating death of an illegal immigrant in Shenandoah.
The jury is expected to be charged after a lunch break.
Defense lawyers for Brandan Piekarsky and Derrick Donchak wrapped up their closing arguments late Friday morning. They told the jury there are just too many different stories being told and too much reasonable doubt to convict their clients.
Piekarsky and Donchak are charged in the beating death of 25-year-old Luis Ramirez last summer.
The prosecution said the two high school students beat Ramierz in a racially-motivated attack....
