BASH'd takes bite out of the Big Apple
In the course of the year, BASH'd, their "gay hip-hop opera" that premiered in 2006 at The Roost in Edmonton, got "discovered" on closing night of the New York International Fringe Festival last summer. Since then, it's been on the red carpet with the likes of Barbara Walters and the 60 Minutes team, picking up a GLAAD (Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Award.

Now BASH'd, along with its creators, is getting a workout five times a week, kicking butt, in rhyme, as its Romeo and Romeo tale of star-crossed Canuck prairie lovers unfolds.
